Contributions

In order to submit a paper to the PAAMS 2011 main track you must register as an author at PAAMS 2011 conference management system

As in previous editions, the goals of the Conference will be:

  1. to create the appropriate conditions for researchers to disseminate their research work.
  2. to strengthen the relationships among the AI research groups.
  3. to facilitate the contact between new researchers and consolidated groups
  4. to help the diffusion of new developments to the community.

In order to fulfill these objectives, submissions of substantial, original and previously unpublished work are invited in all areas of Artificial Intelligence. The papers can be presented from a formal, methodological, technical or applied point of view.

Some of the topics that will be dealt with under the PAAMS 2011 are:

Types of submissions

  1. Regular Paper. They must consist of original, relevant and previously unpublished sound research results related to any of the topics of the conference.
  2. Doctoral Paper. PhD students are invited to present the topic and progress of their research in order to obtain feedback from a panel of experts.

Submitting papers

All papers must be formatted according to the Advances in Intelligent and Soft Computing Series Springer template, with a maximum length of:

  • 10 pages in length, including figures and references for the PAAMS 2011 main track

The template can be downloaded Here. All proposed papers must be submitted in electronic form (PDF format) using the PAAMS 2011 conference management system.

Review process

PAAMS welcomes the submission of application papers with preference to the topics listed in the call for papers. All submitted papers will undergo a thorough review process; each paper will be refereed by at least three experts in the field based on relevance, originality, significance, quality and clarity.

Publication

Accepted papers will be included in PAAMS 2011 Proceedings, published in the Advances in Intelligent and Soft-Computing series of Springer.

At least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the symposium to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings. All accepted papers will be published by Springer Verlag.

PAAMS is included in the ranking of the best conferences established by the Computer Science Conference Ranking based on the "Estimated Impact of Conference (EIC)", concretely in position 52 among 701 considered (in the Artificial Intelligence field). Therefore the papers will be indexed by CiteSeer.IST, and by the organization Computing Research and Education Association (CORE).
